ALIGN is real ballet for real people with a shot of pure positive energy.
It is the mission of the ALIGN BALLET METHOD to revolutionize the culture of adult ballet training by deeply focusing on each student’s unique potential. We believe in coaching every student to the best of their abilities and always consider personal limitations with compassion.
Since the beginning of the ALIGN BALLET METHOD in 2012, we have helped hundreds successfully learn the proper technique and form of classical ballet. Many of our beginners in the past are now dancing in pointe shoes and dancing at other major ballet company schools during their travels. There is no intimidation factor here. We create a supportive and non-competitive environment. Each class is still technically-focused and enables each student to progress. We are challenging but our classes are designed to quickly accelerate your potential. The ALIGN BALLET METHOD is a new approach to the ballet studio–we place your success and satisfaction as our highest priority.
Align 1 workshop enables adult beginners to learn the fundamentals of a classical ballet barre in six one-hour classes.
Align 2 workshops build on those fundamentals and allowing students to begin dancing without the barre.
Align 3 workshop will strengthen your fundamentals and help you master basic travling/linking movement to fully prepare you for our open classes.
OPEN CLASSES –
Align 4 open classes focus on technical development with simple chorepgraphy. A great place to start back if you have had prior training but have taken a break from training.
Align 5 open classes challenge our students technically and artistically with advanced dynamic combination. Aling 5 would be considered an adult “intermeidate” ballet class at most studios.
POINTE – We offer basic pointe classes to those students with prior experience or who have completed levels 1-4. To attend our pointe classes it generally takes an absolutely beginner 6 months off training 2-3 times per week.
RE-ALIGN – Our barre workout combines 25 minutes of basic ballet barre work, 20 minutes of upper body strength training with cardio conditioning, followed by 15 minutes of core strengthening. This whole body workout utilizes heavy doses of ALIGN technical mastery while keeping the movements basic enough that NO PRIOR BALLET TRAINING IS REQUIRED! This whole body workout will whip you in shape in no time.
