ALIGN BALLET METHOD creator and artistic director, Michael Cornell, is a graduate of the National Academy of Arts in Champaign, Illinois. Michael spent a decade with the innovative BalletMet where the world's leading choreographers selected him for leading roles in new contemporary work. He is one of only a few dancers to appear as a centerfold image in Dance Magazine. His work over the past decade has been written about in Angeleno, Health, Better Homes and Gardens, Pop Sugar, Daily Candy, The New York Times, and Vogue.
Born and raised in Nova Scotia, Canada, Zoe Keijser moved away from home to
study at the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet while simultaneously
completing her high school education. She continued her studies and began
her professional career in Vancouver BC where she danced with the Goh
Ballet Youth Company and with the Vancouver Opera. She proceeded to dance
with Connecticut Ballet and then moved to NYC where she
completed Fellowships with the Merce Cunningham Trust. After moving to California she danced with The Pasadena Dance Theatre and ArtistsPlus Productions. Zoe is thrilled to be currently teaching for The Align Ballet Method!
Kiara holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Dance with honors distinction from UC Santa Barbara, along with a BA in English. She has performed with the Santa Barbara Ballet Kiara is newly certified with Yoga Alliance 200 hour in Vinyasa Flow and is a writer for LA Yoga Magazine.
Coree McKee began her formal dance training under the direction of Suzanne B. Pomerantzeff at the Academy of Ballet Arts in St. Petersburg, Florida. In her early years she spent summers studying at the Boston Ballet, American Ballet Theatre and St. Petersburg Concert Ballet. In 2013 Coree graduated from the Boston Conservatory with a BFA in Dance.
Sydney Huber is a classically trained Ballet dancer of over 15 years, as well as training in Balanchine technique, modern, and jazz. She began her studies seriously, year round with the School of New Jersey Ballet and then Manhattan Youth Ballet while attending Summer Intensives at the Rock School for Dance Education as well as the School of Pennsylvania Ballet. When not teaching for ALIGN Sydney is a highly sought fashion model and event dancer.
At age four, Susan began her early training at the Westside School of Ballet and through scholarships continued her professional training at the Pacific Northwest Ballet School, San Francisco Ballet School and The Rock School. Susan's professional ballet career includes Pennsylvania Ballet, Santa Fe Opera, San Diego Opera, Chicago City Ballet, Napoles Ballet Theatre, California Riverside Ballet and the City of Angels Ballet. Susan’s unwavering passion for ballet and attention to detail makes her classes accessible for all ages and levels. Susan is the Creative Director and Choreographer of Freaks With Lines® and is also a certified yoga and Pilates instructor with over 10 years of teaching experience.
