Our current options for our adult ballet virtual classes. These classes are live and interactive. You may attend with your camera off for privacy.
You will need to have a free ZOOM account, something sturdy to hold slightly higher then your waist, and room to kick in all directions. You will be emailed a link to the class 30 minutes prior to it’s start time.
Virtual Intro To Ballet – for total beginners. This 90 minute class is similar to our first class of our ALIGN 1 beginners workshops but lengthened by an extra 30 minutes. The class covers terminology, basic alignment, feet positions, arm positions, and all the exercise of a basic ballet barre. Each class is concluded with a question and answer period. This intro is a great way to get your feet wet and see if ALIGN is for you.
Virtual Beginning Ballet – for those who have attended our workshops or with some training.This material is easy to follow.
Virtual ALIGN 4 – is for students who have completed our levels 1 -3 or those who have fairly general knowledge of a basic ballet barre and center. Knowledge of terminology, positions, exercises, body placement, and ability to follow combinations are required but you do not have to have danced with the Bolshoi. You need to be a generally proficient adult ballet dancer.
Virtual ALIGN 1 Workshop – for total beginners. This progressive 6 class course will develop you 1 time per week for six weeks. Recommended for those who wish to build a solid technical foundation.This is the original adult beginners ballet course that has helped thousands. You master the classical fundamentals and our muscle memory building process will ingrain them into every cell of your body.
Virtual John Clifford – our friend John Clifford is not a part of the Align Ballet Method staff or process but we are proud to host his work from our Los Angeles studio. A NYCB principle from 1966 – 1980 George Balanchine created many original ballets for Mr. Clifford and considered him a protege. John has taught NYCB company class, instructed at the School of American Ballet, and choreographed numerous works for film/television. His classes are specific for advanced technicians. We host John’s virtual classes as special events.
